Abstract
Korea constitution stipulates that health is a ¡°basic right that all citizens deserve¡± and that health is a ¡°basic right that all citizens deserve.¡± Everyone has the right to medical care to be healthy. The polarization of the level of health inequality and the gap in medical resources by region are severe, resulting in medical imbalances. Through this study, the difference in medical use according to the imbalance of medical resources across the region was investigated.
One-way distribution (ANOVA) was conducted to verify the average difference between medical use and medical resources by city type, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to confirm the effect of medical resources on medical use and medical expenses and death toll.
As a result of examining medical resources by dividing 246 cities, counties, and districts, medical institutions, doctors, nurses, hospital beds, and specialists by specialty subjects all differed significantly, confirming that medical resources differed greatly by region. Medical resources by city type were more large cities than small cities, and on the contrary, medical use was more small cities than large cities. The higher the number of doctors, the higher the medical use and medical expenses, and the higher the number of advanced general hospitals, general hospitals, and hospitals, the higher the death toll. Through this study, polarization of medical resources by region still occurs, and in order to improve the health level of the people, it is important to establish a health care system so that medical services provided through appropriate supply of medical resources such as health care personnel, facilities, and equipment. As medical personnel, which is a key resource among medical personnel, flock to the metropolitan area, some areas that require medical treatment that only medical personnel can do may not receive medical services, so empirical and detailed measures are needed to reduce regional deviations.
